FX.co ★ Beam Therapeutics CFO Terry-Ann Burrell To Resign

Beam Therapeutics Inc. (BEAM) announced on Monday the departure of its Chief Financial Officer, Terry-Ann Burrell, effective August 9, 2024. Burrell will be transitioning to a new role as Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at JPMorgan Chase. Since August 2019, Burrell has been an integral part of Beam Therapeutics as CFO.

The company has commenced the search for her successor as part of an orderly transition process.

Before joining Beam, Burrell dedicated 11 years to J.P. Morgan, where she rose to the position of Managing Director in the healthcare investment banking division, covering a broad spectrum of biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.

Earlier in her career, Burrell worked in equity research at Citigroup, focusing on specialty pharmaceuticals and generics.
