FX.co ★ Meta Rolls Out AI Studio In US To Create Customized Chatbots

Meta Platforms (META) has unveiled AI Studio in the U.S., enabling creators to design personalized AI-powered chatbots.

"AI Studio marks the initial steps toward a future where everyone can utilize the creative potential of AI. This is merely the beginning," Meta announced in a blog post.

These tailored AI chatbots can be shared with friends and followers and are compatible with Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, and web platforms.

To create an AI character, users need to visit AI Studio or initiate a new message on Instagram, then select 'AI chats'. From there, users can personalize their AI character's name, personality, avatar, tone, and tagline.

"You can choose from numerous prompt templates or start from scratch to create an AI that teaches cooking, assists with Instagram captions, generates memes, and more—the possibilities are limitless," the company elaborated.

Built on Llama 3.1, AI Studio enables Instagram creators to develop customized AIs that can respond to messages and stories on their behalf.

"Creator AIs can share personal insights, link to favorite brands, and highlight past videos, helping creators engage with a broader audience and providing fans with quicker responses," Meta explained.

"We have implemented policies and safeguards to ensure AI interactions are both safe and responsible, ensuring that chatting with AIs remains enjoyable and beneficial," the company added.
