FX.co ★ Hyundai Motor America July Total Sales Up 4%

Hyundai Motor America announced on Thursday that its total sales for July reached 69,202 units, marking a 4% increase from the 66,527 units sold during the same period last year. This growth was driven by record-breaking July sales for the Elantra HEV, Santa Fe HEV, Tucson HEV, and Palisade models. Notably, hybrid sales saw a 67% surge in July.

Electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid vehicles accounted for 25% of retail sales, achieving an all-time high in monthly retail and total sales for the Tucson HEV.

Year-to-date, the company's total sales have increased by 1.6%, with 468,725 units sold compared to 461,140 units during the same period last year.
