In an encouraging sign for the Czech economy, the country's budget deficit narrowed significantly in August 2024. According to the latest data updated on September 2, 2024, the budget balance now stands at -175.800 billion CZK (Czech koruna), an improvement from the -192.300 billion CZK registered in July 2024.
