Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) has announced a quarterly dividend of $0.83 per share, marking an 8-cent increase (10%) from the previous quarter. The dividend is scheduled for payment on December 12, 2024, to shareholders recorded by November 21, 2024, which is also the ex-dividend date.

Furthermore, the company's board has sanctioned a new share repurchase program, authorizing up to $60 billion in share buybacks. This initiative has no expiration date and may be terminated at any discretion.

Additionally, Microsoft has set the date for its 2024 Annual Shareholders Meeting on December 10, 2024. Shareholders registered by the close of business on September 30, 2024, the record date, will be eligible to vote.
