FX.co ★ Millicom Chair Mauricio Ramos Steps Down; Appoints Maxime Lombardini As Non-Executive Interim Chair

Millicom (TIGO) has announced that Mauricio Ramos will resign from his positions as director and Chair of the Millicom Board of Directors, effective September 30, 2024.

In response, the company has appointed Maxime Lombardini as the Interim Chair of the Board. A Nominations Committee will be formed to propose a candidate for the role of Chair at the next annual general meeting of Millicom shareholders.

Lombardini will immediately take on the role of Interim Non-Executive Chair of the Board and will concurrently step down from his positions as COO and President of the company. Lombardini has held these roles since September 2023.
