Turkey experienced a modest decline in foreign arrivals this August, according to the latest data released on September 24, 2024. In August, the foreign arrivals indicator dropped to 2.47%, down from July's figure of 2.60%, which was recorded last month.

The annual comparison reveals a slight but noteworthy shift, as both figures represent the change year-over-year. The previous indicator of 2.60% in July compared to the same month a year ago, whereas the latest 2.47% for August represents a similar metric.

Despite the minor decrease, it's still a strong performance for Turkey's tourism sector.
