FX.co ★ Nippon Steel To Sell POSCO HD Shares

Nippon Steel Corporation (NISTY.PK, NISTF.PK) has announced plans to divest 2,894,712 shares of POSCO Holdings it acquired under their strategic alliance agreement with POSCO Holdings Inc. Despite this sale, Nippon Steel will continue to advance collaborative initiatives with POSCO HD.

Nippon Steel indicated that the impact on its standalone financial statements for the fiscal year ending March 2025 remains undetermined. However, since the consolidated financial statements are prepared in accordance with IFRS, the event will not affect the profits for the current year.
