FX.co ★ AECOM Wins Contract To Support LA Metro's Transition Shift To Zero-Emission Buses

AECOM (ACM) announced on Thursday that it has been awarded a contract to support the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) in its transition to Zero Emission Buses.

Under this contract, AECOM will provide comprehensive program management, design, and engineering services. They will develop conceptual designs for Zero Emission Buses and the associated charging infrastructure, assist with specifications and procurement, and formulate implementation strategies to facilitate a seamless transition.

This initiative, supported by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, is one of the nation's most significant electric bus programs, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve air quality in Los Angeles County.
