Aetna, the health insurance division of CVS Health Corp. (CVS), announced its 2025 Medicare product lineup on Tuesday. This includes a broad array of Medicare Advantage (MA) plan options that emphasize value, choice, and affordability.
The MA plans will offer features such as $0 monthly premiums, $0 primary care copays, and $0 copays for Tier 1 drugs. Additionally, they will provide benefits like dental, vision, hearing, and SilverSneakers in every county where the company operates.
The 2025 offerings will include preferred provider organization (PPO) plans for those seeking flexibility, health maintenance organization (HMO) plans for those prioritizing affordability, and Special Needs Plans for individuals requiring additional support.
Aetna will continue to offer a comprehensive product portfolio that includes Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) plans, MA-only plans, prescription drug plans (PDP), Special Needs Plans (SNP), Medicare Supplement plans, and ancillary products.
For 2025, Aetna plans to offer MAPD plans in 44 states and Washington, D.C., totaling 2,259 counties. These plans will be accessible to 59 million Medicare-eligible beneficiaries.
Currently, Aetna serves approximately 10.5 million Medicare members across the U.S., with 4.3 million enrolled in individual or employer group MA plans.
