Sinclair, Inc. (SBGI) announced on Tuesday a partnership between its live and on-demand local news provider, NewsON, and the digital innovation agency Mindgrub. The collaboration aims to launch a spatial computing application designed to enhance the local news experience on Apple Inc.'s (AAPL) Vision Pro devices.

Leveraging RealityKit and SwiftUI, the NewsON app will boast features such as interactive news maps, photorealistic 3D renderings, and user-friendly interfaces.

This app will collaborate with over 280 local TV stations, offering access to on-demand newscasts and short-form story clips from local broadcasters nationwide.

As of now, Sinclair's stock is trading at $15.16 on the Nasdaq, marking a 0.88 percent decline.
