On Wednesday, Canon Inc. (CAJ), along with Canon U.S.A., Inc., teamed up with Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN), and Amazon.com Services LLC to initiate a joint lawsuit for trademark infringement in the United States. The lawsuit targets 18 selling accounts accused of distributing counterfeit toner cartridges on the Amazon platform. Filed in the District Court for the Western District of Washington, this legal action aims to safeguard consumers from fraudulent and potentially hazardous products.
