Family Dollar Stores, LLC, a subsidiary of Dollar Tree, Inc. (DLTR), has announced a collaboration with Instacart (CART), a leader in grocery technology, to enable online payments through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) system.

Previously, Family Dollar locations accepted SNAP/EBT transactions solely for in-person purchases. This partnership with Instacart now allows customers to utilize EBT payments for eligible items through the Family Dollar mobile app and its web storefront.

Additionally, customers have the option to use SNAP/EBT for purchases on the Family Dollar storefront via the Instacart app and website. This service delivers directly to customers' homes, enhancing the convenience of the Family Dollar shopping experience.
