FX.co ★ IGT Global Solutions Inks 10-year Contract Extension With North Carolina Education Lottery

International Game Technology plc (IGT) has announced that its subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corp., has secured a 10-year contract extension with the North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL). This extension is set to commence on July 1, 2027, and will remain in effect until June 2037. The NCEL has been a valued partner of IGT since its inception in 2006.

As per the new agreement, IGT will implement its advanced Aurora central system— a key part of IGT's comprehensive lottery solution, OMNIA.

Furthermore, IGT will deliver enhanced capabilities including the latest Wizard back-office business applications, up to 8,500 new Retailer Pro S2 terminals, 500 GameTouch 28 self-service vending machines, 2,000 lottery play centers, and 4,000 Jackpot signs. Additionally, a dual cellular communication network and improved testing facilities will be provided for the NCEL.

The Aurora platform and its associated components are designed to promote innovation and boost profitability within the lottery sector.
