Uber Technologies, Inc. (UBER), the company known for its ride-hailing and delivery services, announced on Thursday a new multiyear partnership with Avride, a company specializing in the development of autonomous vehicles and delivery robots. This collaboration aims to integrate delivery robots and autonomous vehicles into Uber's ride-hailing and Uber Eats platforms.

Initially, the partnership will introduce sidewalk delivery robots for Uber Eats customers in Austin within the coming weeks. Meanwhile, the initiative to offer autonomous vehicle ridesharing services will commence in Dallas, anticipated to start later next year.
