NextPlat (NXPL, NXPLW) has announced a significant expansion of its e-commerce distribution agreement with OPKO Health, Inc. (OPK). This agreement pertains to the online sales of OPKO Health's European products in China, and now features a new four-year extension along with the exclusive rights to market these products in Japan.
Originally, under the terms of the e-commerce development program with OPKO, NextPlat launched an OPKO Health-branded online store on Alibaba Group's Tmall Global e-commerce platform in China. This store features a variety of nutraceutical and veterinary products offered by OPKO Europe. The initial one-year contract has been extended to four years, now encompassing a broader range of e-commerce platforms, along with enhanced digital and social media marketing efforts throughout China. Moreover, the program has been expanded to allow for the sales and marketing of OPKO's products directly to consumers in Japan.
