Kopin Corporation (KOPN) has announced that it has received its first production order for the newly launched SXGA-R15 microdisplay system. This order, intended for 3D Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) purposes, comes from Mirtec Co. Ltd., based in South Korea. The SXGA-R15 microdisplay has been specifically engineered for 3D AOI systems and boasts a 25% size and weight reduction compared to previous models.
