FX.co ★ BigBear.ai Gets $165 Mln 5-year Contract For U.S. Army's Global Force Info Management

BigBear.ai Holdings, Inc. (BBAI), a leader in AI-driven decision intelligence solutions, announced on Monday a significant milestone: it secured a five-year production contract worth $165 million. This agreement is to provide the U.S. Army with the Global Force Information Management - Objective Environment (GFIM-OE).

Since 2021, BigBear.ai has collaborated with the Army to modernize 15 outdated systems into an enterprise-wide intelligent automation platform. This advancement aligns with the Secretary of the Army's data-centric force management strategy. Building on progress made in Phases 1 and 2, this new contract will facilitate the ongoing development and transition of GFIM-OE capabilities to the production phase.

The objective of this contract is to deliver a sophisticated, integrated, and interoperable system designed for managing transactional global force structures and employment data.
