Maxeon Solar Technologies CEO Bill Mulligan To Retire At End Of January

Maxeon Solar Technologies, Ltd. (MAXN) has announced a transition in leadership set for the end of January 2025. Bill Mulligan, the company's Chief Executive Officer, is set to retire at that time. Succeeding him is George Guo, who began his tenure as CEO and joined the Board of Directors on October 11, 2024. Previously, Guo served as an advisor to the Chairman of TCL Group and was the CEO of TCL Communication Technology. Mulligan will continue to support the transition process until his retirement in January.

George Guo brings with him nearly four decades of experience, marked by notable achievements in technology leadership. He has successfully scaled high-volume manufacturing and driven growth across various technology sectors.

Throughout his career, Guo has been involved in numerous strategic areas, including corporate strategy, product positioning, market introduction strategies, supply chain, and operations management. His professional journey includes key leadership positions at IBM's Santa Teresa Lab, serving as Chief Technology Officer and head of R&D at Zhaodaola Internet, and holding several executive roles at TCL Communications, where he spent six years as the CEO.
