FX.co ★ NaaS Technology Partners With Prominent Regional Charging Station Operator In Fujian Province

NaaS Technology Inc. (NAAS) has announced a strategic partnership with a leading regional charging station operator in Fujian Province. This collaboration will integrate over 100 charging stations and more than 1,600 DC fast chargers into the network of NaaS's strategic partner, Kuaidian. The effort is designed to strengthen NaaS's presence in key cities such as Xiamen and Fuzhou, while also extending its reach to smaller locales like Ningde, Longyan, Sanming, and Putian.

This partnership will focus on enhancing the interconnectivity of charging facilities, optimizing traffic management, and providing seamless payment solutions, thereby increasing the accessibility and convenience of the region's charging services.

As of August 2024, Fujian boasts over 700,000 new energy vehicles (NEVs) and more than 105,000 public charging stations. Xiamen and Fuzhou have shown significant growth in NEV adoption, with Xiamen now having over 190,000 NEVs, accounting for 10% of the city's total vehicle ownership—exceeding the national average of 7.4%. Additionally, the monthly penetration rates for NEV sales in Xiamen and Fuzhou are nearing 55%, surpassing the national average.
