FX.co ★ CSX Reaches Tentative Agreements With IBEW And NCFO; Ratifies Deal With SMART-TD

CSX has announced the successful negotiation of new tentative five-year collective bargaining agreements with both the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the National Conference of Firemen & Oilers (NCFO). Additionally, a labor agreement with the SMART-TD yardmasters has been ratified. These agreements await approval from the respective union memberships at CSX.

To date, CSX has secured forward-looking agreements with 13 labor unions, encompassing 17 different work groups, which represent nearly 60% of its unionized workforce. CSX remains dedicated to collaborating with other unions and trade groups to finalize similar agreements in the coming days, with a continued focus on partnering with employees to foster meaningful enhancements in their work environment.
