FX.co ★ Dutch Producer Confidence Weakens In October

Confidence levels among Dutch manufacturers continued to decline in October, with a reduced optimism regarding forthcoming business activities, according to data released by the Central Bureau of Statistics on Wednesday.

The producer sentiment index fell to -3.2 in October, down from -1.7 in September. This latest figure remains beneath the long-term average of -1.3.

The survey highlighted a decline in producers' expectations for production over the next three months. Additionally, there is increased negativity concerning their order portfolios and inventories of finished goods.

Results from the survey indicated that confidence weakened in more than half of the key industrial sectors.
