Thai Manufacturing Sector Stagnant In October - S&P Global

The latest survey from S&P Global, released on Friday, indicates that Thailand's manufacturing sector remained stagnant in October, with the manufacturing PMI registering a score of 50.0. This represents a slight decline from September's PMI of 50.4, positioning the indicator right at the threshold between expansion and contraction.

While there were positive developments in output and employment, these were counterbalanced by negative trends in new orders, suppliers' delivery times, and stock purchases. Notably, the volume of new orders experienced its first decline in four months, though the contraction rate was minimal. As a result, this contributed to the slowest increase in output within the ongoing six-month growth period.
