Bechtle AG (BC8G) has released its third-quarter financial results, revealing a post-tax earnings figure of 55.95 million euros, reflecting a 16.2% decrease from the previous year. The earnings per share have fallen to 0.44 euros, compared to 0.53 euros previously. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) amounted to 80.75 million euros, which also marks a 16.2% drop. However, the third-quarter revenue saw a 2.2% rise, reaching 1.51 billion euros.
Thomas Olemotz, CEO of Bechtle AG, commented, "Overall, we are not satisfied with our performance in the third quarter. Our small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) clients, particularly in key markets such as France and Germany, are still cautious about making investments. Nonetheless, we are encouraged by the growth shown by our international subsidiaries, which reassures us that our European mergers and acquisitions strategy is the correct path forward."
