European Economic News Preview: UK Unemployment Data Due

The UK unemployment figures and Germany's economic confidence survey are the primary economic highlights to watch this Tuesday.

At 2:00 AM ET, the Office for National Statistics will publish the UK labor market report. Expectations suggest a slight increase in the unemployment rate to 4.1 percent for the quarter ending in September, compared to 4.0 percent in the previous quarter.

Simultaneously, Destatis is set to release Germany's final inflation statistics for October. Preliminary estimates indicated a rise in consumer price inflation to 2.0 percent in October, up from 1.6 percent in September.

Additionally, Romania's consumer price data and Turkey's retail sales and current account figures are anticipated.

At 2:30 AM ET, Hungary will report its consumer price data, with inflation projected to increase to 3.5 percent in October from 3.0 percent in September. Later, at 5:00 AM ET, we expect the release of Germany's ZEW economic confidence survey. Forecasts suggest a slight increase in the economic confidence index to 13.2 for November, up from 13.1 in October.
