Siemens FY24 Net Income Rises; Comparable Revenue Up 3% - Quick Facts

Siemens, listed under the tickers SIEGY.PK and SMAWF, announced a rise in net income for fiscal year 2024, reaching 9.0 billion euros, up from 8.5 billion euros the previous year. The basic earnings per share increased to 10.53 euros from 10.04 euros. When accounting for earnings per share before purchase price allocation (EPS pre PPA), this figure stood at 11.15 euros compared to 10.77 euros in the previous period. Notably, EPS pre PPA, excluding Siemens Energy Investment, was 10.54 euros, a rise from 9.93 euros. The profit from the Industrial Business segment showed a marginal increase of 1 percent, totaling 11.4 billion euros. During fiscal 2024, comparable revenue expanded by 3 percent, reaching 75.9 billion euros, whereas comparable orders saw a 4 percent decline, totaling 84.1 billion euros.

Looking at the fourth quarter, net income improved to 2.1 billion euros, up from 1.9 billion euros in the same period last year. Comparable basis revenue also saw a 2 percent increase, totaling 20.8 billion euros.

For fiscal year 2025, Siemens projects comparable revenue growth between 3 percent and 7 percent. The company also anticipates basic earnings per share before purchase price allocation accounting to range from 10.40 euros to 11.00 euros, not taking into account the financial gain from the divestiture of Innomotics.
