Klockner & Co SE (KCO.DE) revealed plans on Thursday to establish a new aluminum flat-rolled processing facility located on the Aluminum Dynamics LLC campus in Columbus. This move aims to broaden its product and service offerings.

The state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2026, furthering the company's expansion into the U.S. and Mexican markets.

The steel and metal product distributor noted that this investment will be executed through its U.S. subsidiary, Kloeckner Metals Corp.

As of pre-market trading, Klockner's shares are valued at 4.46 euros, marking a 1.13 percent increase on the XETRA exchange.
