Industrial producer price inflation in the Czech Republic experienced a modest rise in October, following a dip in the previous month, as reported by the Czech Statistical Office on Monday.
In October, the industrial producer price index increased by 0.8% on an annual basis, a slight acceleration from the 0.6% growth observed in September. Analysts had anticipated a 0.9% rise.
Broken down by category, prices for capital goods rose by 2.8% compared to the previous year, while non-durable consumer goods saw a price hike of 1.9%. The data also indicated a minimal increase of 0.3% in energy prices.
When energy prices are excluded, the industrial producer price inflation rate was 1.1%, up slightly from 0.9% in September.
On a month-to-month comparison, producer prices saw a marginal rise of 0.1% in October.
