General Motors recently achieved a milestone by orchestrating a historic journey involving 20 vehicles equipped with Super Cruise technology in a pioneering hands-free convoy across the renowned Bay Bridge, linking San Francisco and Oakland.
Initially launched in 2017, General Motors introduced Super Cruise as the automotive industry's premier hands-free advanced driver assistance system. Currently, it is available on 20 different vehicles, outpacing competitors who offer nine or fewer models with similar hands-free capabilities. Importantly, GM's Super Cruise stands out as the only system that facilitates hands-free towing.
By providing a diverse selection of vehicles at various price points, GM is committed to increasing the accessibility of Super Cruise, thereby extending the benefits of hands-free driving to a broader audience.
Looking towards 2025 and beyond, General Motors plans to enhance customer choices for hands-free driving. Upcoming models such as the Cadillac VISTIQ, Cadillac Escalade IQ, among others, are set to include the Super Cruise system.
