Garmin Ltd. (GRMN) has announced the launch of its most advanced dive computer, the Descent X50i, tailored for underwater exploration. This device is priced at $1,499.99.

The Descent X50i boasts a 3-inch color touchscreen display, durable sapphire lens, robust metal buttons designed to resist leaks, and an auxiliary dive light.

Equipped with SubWave sonar technology, this sophisticated dive computer enhances underwater communication among divers and enables them to track each other's tank pressure, depth, and proximity.

In pre-market trading, Garmin's shares are slightly down, trading at $208.45, a decrease of 0.39 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
