FX.co ★ Canopy Growth Appoints Luc Mongeau As Chief Executive Officer

Canopy Growth Corp. (CGC), a prominent player in the cannabis industry, announced on Tuesday the appointment of Luc Mongeau from its Board of Directors as the next Chief Executive Officer, with the transition set to occur on January 6, 2025.

Mongeau will take over the reins from David Klein, who has decided to retire. Klein will maintain his position until Mongeau's appointment takes effect.

Prior to this role, Mongeau joined the company as an observer in early 2023 before officially becoming a Board member in February of the same year. Most recently, he has held the position of CEO at a leading e-commerce firm specializing in residential and commercial furniture across North America.
