New Zealand Interest Rate Decision Due On Wednesday

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand is set to conclude its monetary policy meeting and subsequently announce its decision regarding interest rates, reflecting a relatively quiet day for economic developments in the Asia-Pacific region. It is anticipated that the RBNZ will reduce its Official Cash Rate by 50 basis points, lowering it from 4.75 percent to 4.25 percent.

In Australia, third-quarter figures for construction work completed are expected, with predictions indicating a quarterly increase of 0.4 percent, an improvement over the 0.1 percent growth observed in the preceding three months.

China will be releasing data for October concerning industrial profits, following a year-on-year decline of 3.5 percent recorded in September. Meanwhile, Thailand is set to disclose its industrial production statistics for October, after experiencing a year-on-year decrease of 3.51 percent in output during September.
