CrowdStrike Slips To Loss In Q3; But Lifts FY Outlook

CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (CRWD) announced that for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, which concluded on October 31, 2024, the company experienced a net loss attributable to shareholders amounting to $16.8 million or $0.07 per share. This contrasts with the net income of $26.7 million or $0.11 per share recorded during the same period the previous fiscal year.

In terms of non-GAAP financial measures, net income per share stood at $0.93, up from $0.82 in the third quarter of fiscal 2024.

The company's total revenue reached $1.01 billion, marking a significant 29% increase from $786.0 million achieved in the third quarter of fiscal 2024. Meanwhile, subscription revenue grew by 31%, amounting to $962.7 million, compared to $733.5 million in the corresponding period of the prior year.

For the upcoming fourth quarter of fiscal 2025, CrowdStrike anticipates its non-GAAP net income attributable to the company will range between $210.9 million and $215.8 million, translating to $0.84 - $0.86 per share. The projected total revenue for this period is expected to fall between $1.029 billion and $1.035 billion.

Looking at the overall fiscal year 2025, the company has revised its outlook, now forecasting non-GAAP net income attributable to CrowdStrike to be between $937.5 million and $942.6 million, or $3.74 to $3.76 per share, with total revenue projected to reach between $3.924 billion and $3.931 billion. This is an upward revision from the previous guidance, which estimated annual non-GAAP net income to fall between $908.8 million and $918.0 million, or $3.61 to $3.65 per share, and total revenue ranging from $3.890 billion to $3.902 billion.
