Zimmer Biomet (ZBH) has received FDA 510(k) clearance for the Persona SoluTion Porous Plasma Spray Femur, which is a component of a total knee implant. This innovative product offers an alternative solution for patients who are sensitive to bone cement and/or metal. The Persona SoluTion PPS Femur is set to become commercially available in the U.S. by the first quarter of 2025.

This implant is characterized by its porous coating, facilitating cementless fixation while incorporating a surface treatment designed to improve wear performance.
