FX.co ★ Unisys Appoints Mike Thomson To Succeed Peter Altabef As CEO

Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) has announced the appointment of Mike Thomson, who currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer, as the successor to Peter Altabef for the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2025. Upon assuming the CEO position, Thomson will also join the company's Board of Directors while maintaining his title as President. Peter Altabef, who currently serves as both Chair and CEO, will continue as Chair of the Board.

Thomson's tenure at Unisys began in 2015 when he took on the roles of Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer. He ascended to Chief Financial Officer in 2019, before being appointed President and COO in 2021. His career spans over 25 years, during which he has held increasingly senior positions across various industries.

Additionally, Unisys has confirmed that its forecast for full-year revenue growth and the non-GAAP operating profit margin, initially issued during the third-quarter 2024 earnings release on October 29, 2024, remains unchanged.
