Genius Group Ltd. (GNS), a prominent AI-driven educational organization focused on Bitcoin, announced its acquisition of the Bitcoin and Blockchain educational platform, XD Academy, on Friday.

XD Academy, initially established as BitMEX Academy by the cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX, later emerged as an independent entity under the leadership of its founder and CEO, Lawrence Linker.

In this acquisition, Genius Group has integrated XD Academy's learning resources and courses into its existing Genius learning platform.

In his new role, Lawrence Linker, CEO of XD Academy, will collaborate with Genius Group to enhance the faculty and expand the curriculum for the Bitcoin Academy on the Company's educational technology platform.

Genius Group intends to expand the Bitcoin Academy within its AI-enhanced "Built on Bitcoin" decentralized educational network, which will feature on-chain Genius Education Merits (GEMs), AI-driven tutors, and AI Certifications utilizing the Lightning Network.
