FX.co ★ Healthcare Realty Appoints Tom Bohjalian As Independent Chair Following Deal With Starboard

Healthcare Realty Trust Inc. (HR) announced on Monday that its Board of Directors has appointed current board member Tom Bohjalian as the Independent Chair. This decision is in accordance with a cooperation agreement reached with the hedge fund Starboard Value LP.

Under the terms of the agreement, Starboard has committed to a customary standstill and voting arrangement, which will remain in effect up until the company's 2026 annual shareholders' meeting.

Additionally, the company has introduced David Henry, Glenn Rufrano, and Don Wood as new independent directors, effective immediately.

As part of the agreement, board members John Knox Singleton, John V. Abbott, and Vicki U. Booth have retired from their positions.
