BAE Systems plc (LSE: BA.L) announced on Monday that it has secured a contract from the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency as a component of the High Operational Temperature Sensors initiative.
This $12 million contract involves the development of an advanced pressure sensor module capable of maintaining high performance at temperatures reaching 800°C (1,472°F).
Currently, BAE Systems' shares are experiencing a 2.44% decline, trading at 1,199.50 pence on the London Stock Exchange.
