FX.co ★ Weebit Nano Licenses ReRAM Technology To ON Semiconductor

Weebit Nano Limited (WBT.AX), a company specializing in cutting-edge memory technologies for the global semiconductor sector, has entered into a licensing agreement with the major semiconductor supplier, ON Semiconductor Corporation (ON), to utilize its resistive random access memory (ReRAM) technology.

According to the agreement, Weebit's ReRAM intellectual property will be incorporated into ON Semiconductor's Treo platform to deliver embedded non-volatile memory (NVM). The integration of Weebit's ReRAM into a Bipolar CMOS, DMOS (BCD) process offers a low-power and cost-effective NVM solution, which has demonstrated exceptional retention capabilities at elevated temperatures.
