FX.co ★ Mexico Jobless Rate Rises To 2.6% In November

Mexico's unemployment rate saw a modest rise in November, following declines over the previous two months, according to data released by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) on Friday.

On an unadjusted basis, the unemployment rate edged up to 2.6% from 2.5% in October, accounting for 1.62 million unemployed individuals in November. Comparatively, November last year recorded a higher jobless rate of 2.7%.

When adjusted for seasonality, the unemployment rate also rose to 2.7% from 2.5% in the preceding month.
