Slovenia Trade Gap Widens In November

In November, Slovenia experienced an increase in its trade deficit compared to the same period last year, as reported by the statistical office on Monday. The trade shortfall expanded to EUR 292.8 million, up from EUR 243.8 million in November of the previous year. Notably, in October, the deficit was recorded at EUR 3.1 billion. On an annual basis, exports grew by 5.2 percent in November, while imports saw a slightly higher rise of 5.9 percent.

Interestingly, imports from European Union member states decreased by 3.9 percent. Meanwhile, there was a significant increase of 17.1 percent in imports from countries outside the EU.
