Granite Point Mortgage Trust Inc. (GPMT), a notable real estate investment trust, announced on Tuesday the appointment of Ethan Lebowitz, currently Managing Director, as the new Chief Operating Officer, effective by May 1. In the interim, Lebowitz will hold the position of Deputy Chief Operating Officer to ensure a smooth transition.

Post-transition, Steven Plust, the outgoing COO, will continue his association with Granite Point as a Senior Managing Director until his planned retirement, scheduled no later than December 31, 2027.
