Romania's unemployment rate continued its downward trend for the second consecutive month in November, albeit slightly, as indicated by preliminary data released by the National Institute of Statistics on Wednesday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate declined to 5.3% in November, down from 5.4% in October. Comparatively, in the same month the previous year, the unemployment rate stood at 5.5%.
The total number of unemployed individuals decreased to 435,618 in November from 441,088 in October. In comparison, a year earlier, this figure was 449,355.
For adults aged 25 to 74, the unemployment rate in November was 4.0%, showing a slight improvement from 4.1% in October.
