FX.co ★ Centessa Pharmaceuticals Appoints Stephen Kanes As CMO

Centessa Pharmaceuticals Plc (CNTA) announced on Wednesday the appointment of Stephen Kanes as its new Chief Medical Officer. Kanes brings over 30 years of experience in neuroscience, clinical psychiatry, and neuroscience drug development to the role.

Most recently, Kanes served as the CEO of EmbarkNeuro, a biotech company dedicated to neuroscience. Prior to that, he held the position of Executive Director in Clinical Development for the Inflammation, Neuroscience, and Respiratory therapeutic divisions at AstraZeneca. Additionally, he was a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania.
