iRobot Corp. (IRBT), a prominent player in consumer robotics, announced on Friday the appointment of Kevin Lanouette as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, effective January 17. Prior to joining iRobot, Lanouette held the position of Partner at OutsideGC, a law firm located in Boston. He will succeed Tonya Drake, the company's Executive Vice President and General Counsel, who will transition to an advisory role before her departure on March 7. As of now, IRBT shares are trading at $10.44 on the Nasdaq, reflecting a decrease of 3.02%, or $0.32.
