Jacobs Solutions Inc. announced on Thursday that it has been awarded a contract by the Japan District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for the provision of architecture and engineering services. The estimated value of this contract is $249 million and spans a duration of seven years, which includes an initial five-year term and an option for an additional two years.
Under this agreement, Jacobs Solutions will offer a comprehensive suite of services related to U.S. military construction, as well as sustainment, restoration, modernization efforts, and projects in collaboration with host nations. This initiative will leverage Jacobs' expertise in design-build processes to support infrastructure projects at U.S. military installations.
Reflecting investor optimism, Jacobs Solutions shares saw a pre-market increase of 0.25%, reaching $141.99 on the New York Stock Exchange.
