Canadian technology company CGI Inc. (GIB) announced on Wednesday that its Executive Chair, Serge Godin, has decided to step down from the Board of Directors. He will now serve as Co-Chair. In the planned leadership transition, Julie Godin will be promoted to Executive Chair after the company's recent Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. Julie Godin currently holds the position of Co-Chair of the Board and Executive Vice-President of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development. In pre-market trading, CGI's shares are priced at $114.91, reflecting a 0.40 percent increase on the New York Stock Exchange.
