FX.co ★ Scholar Rock Names Lisa Wyman As Chief Technical And Quality Officer

Scholar Rock (SRRK), a biopharmaceutical company advancing into the final stages of development for treatment solutions targeting spinal muscular atrophy and cardiometabolic disorders, announced on Wednesday the appointment of Lisa Wyman as the Chief Technical and Quality Officer.

This new role reflects the company’s broader strategic changes as it gears up for its inaugural drug approval and expected market introduction in 2025.

As part of the organizational restructuring, Scholar Rock is set to phase out the position of Chief Operating Officer and is actively seeking a candidate for the Chief Financial Officer role. Currently, Ted Myles fulfills both the COO and CFO roles, and he will remain with the company until mid-March. Following this period, he will move into a Senior Advisor position for six months to facilitate in the transition of leadership.

Lisa Wyman comes to Scholar Rock from Generate Biomedicines, where she occupied the role of Chief Technical Operations Officer and was a pivotal figure within the executive leadership team.

On Wednesday, Scholar Rock shares closed trading on the Nasdaq at $42.56, reflecting an increase of 0.52 percent or $0.22.
