Endeavour Mining Q4 Gold Production Increases

Endeavour Mining plc (EDV.L, EDV.TO, EDVMF) announced a notable increase in its fourth-quarter gold production, registering 363,000 ounces, up from 280,000 ounces in the same period the previous year.

For the fiscal year 2024, the company's gold output reached 1.103 million ounces. This figure aligns with their prior disclosure but falls slightly short of the anticipated range of 1.130 million to 1.270 million ounces. This shortfall is attributed to lower-than-expected production from the Sabodala-Massawa site.

Looking ahead to fiscal year 2025, Endeavour Mining forecasts gold production to range between 1.11 million and 1.26 million ounces. This projection represents an increase of up to 157,000 ounces, or approximately 15%, compared to the 2024 production. The anticipated growth in output is driven by several factors: a full-year contribution from the Lafigué mine, enhanced production at the Mana mine due to the expansion of the Wona underground deposit, and increased throughput, grades, and recoveries at Sabodala-Massawa, significantly benefiting from a full year's operation of the BIOX Expansion.
