Japan Monetary Base Data Due On Tuesday

On Monday, Japan is set to announce the monetary base figures for January, marking a relatively light day in terms of economic activity in the Asia-Pacific region. The monetary base is anticipated to decrease by 0.5% year-on-year, following a 0.9% decline in December.

Additionally, New Zealand will release data for building consents pertaining to December. In November, building consents had increased by 5.3% compared to the previous month.

Meanwhile, financial markets in China will stay closed in observance of the Lunar New Year and are set to resume operations on Wednesday.
